Eco-friendly alternatives to conventional printing

Based in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Aerolam is widely considered a pioneer in double bubble insulation, also known as reflective insulation, in the Indian POP and signage market. The company has the technological framework to manufacture bubble guard up to 6000 gsm.

The company says it is driven by, “A propensity for satisfying the needs and expectations of our customers by supplying on-time, high-quality products, and services, with competitive pricing and long-term consistent value.” Aerolam’s customers come from MNCs, printers, advertisement agencies, and the media industry, according to Nisha Joshi, its manager of business development. It has a pan-India presence with clients spread across the length and breadth of the country.

Aerolam’s applications for POP & signage

Aerolam has fabrication expertise in PP bubble guard board for POP displays, FIBC, that is, PP woven jumbo bags, reflective insulation material, and XLPE insulation material composed of expanded crosslinked polyethylene foam. The firm has recently made headway into its new vertical – cast polypropylene films (CPP). This highly specialized film can be provided as a transparent, metallized, or white film. CPP films have applications in medical and food grade packaging as well.

The scientifically-engineered bubbleguard has a honeycomb structure and is made out of PP material. The circular honeycomb structure of Aerolam’s bubble guard provides peak stiffness and rigidity besides bi-directional strength. It incorporates an air-lock technology with a cushioning effect to establish high strength-to-weight ratio which enables toughness and durability.

Aerolam’s bubble guard is highly adaptable and can tolerate several cutting, perforating, sealing, forming, joining as well as lamination procedures. Its good shock absorption combined with high compression and impact strength make it a substitute for traditional practices for protecting, packaging, and paneling in signage, graphics, and advertising, apart from its use in floor protection, false ceilings, and industrial packaging applications.

Aerolam also showcased its AeroPro VisCom – Print Guard at the Media Expo in Delhi NCR in November 2021. With a sophisticated matt surface finish, the VisCom is dust-resistant and offers good printability and adhesion while being free from cracks, scratches, and wear and tear. The AeroPro VisCom line of visual communication supplies is meant for banners, indoor and outdoor signage, advertisements, graphics, and displays.
